Imagine being in that crowded wave pool and not being able to get out if an emergency happens. Or if you become weak and need to exit the water. What if someone goes underneath all of those people and inflatable tubes? They might not be able to resurface and possibly drowned. Dangerous and anxiety inducing. I am wishing everyone there to be safe and I hope that no accidents happen. How tragic that would be.

Most water parks solved this problem by not allowing people to bring inner tubes in to wave pools. This also helps life guards to see if someone is drowning. Inner tubes are only allowed on river pools or water slides.

The waves wheres its 80 percent inflatable tube on the surface, thats a hazard imo. They may be relatively weightless but i can see people having a hard time going back up to the surface when theres nothing but inflatables and people

This is totally normal. Students at my school took bus trips to a water park exactly like this, every year while I was working in China. I’ve been in the middle of a tube pile like this with my students, at least twice. It was fun! Seems risky in this post- pandemic reality, though

This is actually super dangerous. Not just about covid. A few years back in Indonesia two teenagers (happened to be sisters) died in a crowded swimming pool. Their bodies were retrieved a few hours after they''re sank. No body knew they were asking for a help. It was estimated that they were kicked and stepped down by many other visitors. I hope everyone got a lesson on this. Overcrowded pools are dangerous.

just in the short clip I can already spot several people at risk of drowning because they had their heads barely out of the water and were surrounded by donut floats
